I painted over an old acrylic painting from 2008 that I'd called 'Dreamscape' - if you look closely you'll see some ghostly figures in the background. The bird shapes were cut out from an old painting, using drawings of an albatross in flight. Title inspired by Samuel Taylor Coleridge's 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner'; its themes of human transgression and nature's power resonating with me.
